Never tried making poached eggs? Well that time has come! Nothing easier, healthier and delicious as a perfectly poached egg! Here is the drill:
- Take a deep pan and fill it with about 3-4 inches of water
- Let the water simmer until there are breaking bubbles on the surface; then add a splash of white wine vinegar
- Crack the egg into a cup and gently pour it into the water in a fluid movement; Cook it for 3-5 minutes
- Place the egg onto a paper towel to absorb the excess water before serving
Master chefs place the egg into a cold ice water to stop the cooking, but that is up to you.
