Is the need for LARGE things just an excess of money or there is something more behind that issue? When is large becoming not good enough so you switch to GIANT?
Let’s take The Rainbow Sheikh for example. The eccentric oil sheikh, Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan seems to be the inventor of “GO BIG OR GO HOME”!
The Rainbow Sheikh got his nickname after buying 7 Mercedes 500 SEL’s, each of them painted in the colors of the rainbow so each day of the week is colorful and brings brand new fun.
Ok, so this is like hmmm OK, but how about the biggest graffiti tag on the planet, including his name carved on his private island that stretches 2 miles across!
The gigantic obsession is seen in his giant trucks also. The Rainbow Sheikh’s Jeep has 10 bedrooms, living room, 4 garages and balconies. It weights 122 tons, is 25 meters long and 15 meters wide. The interesting thing is that he actually lives in that peace of moto-art. That’s why he is known as the gigantean who lives in a huge caravan.
At the end of the day, who actually cares if he has some mental disorder or childhood issues that lead to this need … If these gigantic stuff are the exchange of true happiness, then let him have it! He found his way of substituting his “lack of something” … did you?
