Lasagna Cupcakes


Following the tradition of Food-Ex creativity recipes, we present you the super tasty Lasagna Cupcake recipe!


Let the magic begin …The needed ingredients are:

  • 1/3 pound ground beef
  • salt & pepper
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 2 cups Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup pasta sauce
  • basil (for garnish)




And the preparations goes like this:

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Spray the muffin tin with cooking spray. Brown the beef, and season it with salt & pepper. Drain it. Cut the wonton wrappers into circle shapes using a biscuit cutter or the top of a drinking glass. If you like more rustic look of the dish, than no cutting is necessary. reserve 1 cup Parmesan & mozzarella cheese for the top of the cupcakes. 

Since everything is ready, we start the layering … Place the wonton wrapper and press it into the bottom of each muffin tin. Sprinkle a little Parmesan, Ricotta and mozzarella cheese in each. Top with a little meat and pasta sauce. Repeat the layers again. At the end, top it with Parmesan and mozzarella cheese.

Bake for ~20 minutes or until edges are brown. Remove from oven and let them cool down for 5 minutes. Garnish with basil and voila Lasagna ala differente is ready to be served.
